I was really excited to try and review the IDO3D pens because I have a 13 year old. At that age, the kids are really starting to age out of toys, so it is always tough to find fun things that they can enjoy. Gift giving can definitely be a challenge with this age group.
My son spent so much time designing and using the IDO3D pens. He really enjoyed his time and focused on his designs. He started out with the basic designs, using the included sheet to trace designs. You are able to trace the designs, use the UV light included to dry them, then remove the pieces from the plastic. After you create all pieces, you are able to put them together as a 3D creation that you drew yourself!
After he was done using the included design sheet, he started making his very own designs. He was very proud of everything he created and had a lot of fun coming up with new ideas. To see him enjoying art and still having a bit of child-like fun at his age was so great! They grow up so fast, I am learning to cherish these kinds of moments.
