Even though we are past the baby food stage my toddler still loves applesauce pouches. The price adds up quickly. I tried the NurturMe Ec-Pouches which allow you to mix your own ingredients and add them to the pouches which is much more economical. You can either use the NurturMe dried meals mixed with breast milk, formula, or yogurt or add your own homemade purees and smoothies. The pouches are leak proof thanks to the double strength zipper. They are intended to be used 15 times each if you are washing them in the dishwasher which I found to be accurate, but I was able to get double the amount of recommended uses by hand washing the pouches after each use. www.nurturme.com
