Your Child Can Be Part of Disney on Ice

A Very Unique Opportunity for One Lucky Macaroni Kid Child

December 1, 2011

Your child could be a part of the Disney on Ice show!  We have a very unique opportunity for one lucky child.

The "lantern launch" provides a unique opportunity for one lucky child to become part of Disney on Ice.  Your child will be given a glowing lantern which is handed to Rapunzel & Flynn. The child will be in the spotlight, receive a hug from the skaters and then release a lantern and watch it float in the air to fill the "night sky" with hundreds of other lanterns.

Winner receives 4 VIP tickets to this specific performance (Sunday, December 11th at 1pm), plus the opportunity to be the "Lantern Launcher" to start the 2nd act of the performance. **Only one child will be selected and ablle to be the "Lantern Launcher".

Due to the nature of the live performance, the "launcher" must:

  • Be able to lift 5 lbs.
  • Be at least 4 years old
  • Be able to walk and stand up
  • Be able to take direction
  • Be able to walk up 2 large steps. Unfortunately, the area is not wheelchair accessible, and the lantern cable is not long enough to reach someone on the floor.
  • The child does this on their own with ONE parent / guardian nearby for moral support and to help the child back to their seat.

Does your child meet the requirements?  ENTER TO WIN HERE!

Entries must be received by Sunday, December 4th.  Winner will be notified on Monday, December 5th.

**Only one child will be selected and ablle to be the "Lantern Launcher".  If you would like to enter another child into the contest, you must fill out the form once for each child.
