Manipulatives by Eurkeka

Macaroni Reviews

July 26, 2015
I was recently given the opportunity to review some great learning products from Eureka. The products are manipulatives, meaning they are products that can be manipulated by kids for learning. My kids had such a great time playing and learning with the products. We really loved the spelling and math tiles. Hours of fun were had with just these 2 projects. The number tiles include mathematical symbols for making equations. We have created and solved hundreds of equations over the last few weeks. It has been a great experience for my kids! The spelling tiles (pictures below) connect together and include upper and lower case letters. There are also tiles with pictures and the words spelled out without the first letter, so the kids must find the first letter and connect it. A great learning game that also kept them busy for hours at a time.

We also enjoyed playing matching games with their matching pairs puzzle set. The kids had to search out the matching items and connect them. Great project for keeping the mind sharp over the summer!

The kids had tons of fun with the money tray learning about coins and currency. The kids can practice counting and using money. My kids used it to play "shopping", they found items around the house and put prices on them, then used the money to "buy" the products and practiced buying and giving change.

All of the Eureka products that we tried were great quality. They will definitely last for a long time and are sturdy enough to last through lots of kids. Great for families or the classroom!

Eureka has so many more learning products and teacher supplies! My favorite thing to do with my kids is to play games that teach lessons, especially in the summer. Keeping the mind sharp all year long really pays off and helps them with their school work the rest of the year.
