Weekly Publisher Note, June 30-July 7, 2021

Hello Friends,

We finally got RAIN! I never have been excited for rain but I was this week. Looking back through the years I have NEVER remembered the grass looking so horrible. Yellow grass everywhere. We get a season of summer and I love seeing the beauty of plants and the green grass but this year keeping things watered has been a full time job.

With this heat the kids sure are having a good time playing in the pools and at the beach.  There are so many splash pads, local beaches, pools, and of course running through the sprinkler that keeps the kids cool while the weather is hot and humid.

There are so many fun things to do in the summer and with the opening up of so many events it will be fun to get out and enjoy outdoor events with your family and friends. I have put together some summer fun guides and you can find them here.

This weekend is the 4th of July! How will you celebrate? A bbq? a local festival? a trip to the cabin? Whatever you do have a wonderful time celebrating the 4th of July.  July 4 commemorates the passage of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. We celebrate each year with a fun family get-together and then together watching local fireworks. You can see the Fireworks guide here.

the degree of responsibility that comes with his freedom."
