Last week we told you about a fabulous book called Kindness Travels: Penny Power and even promised to give away a Book and Rock Painting Kit thanks to the Minnesota Kindness Alliance and Anoka Kindness Rock Garden!
Congratulations to Leeann Peterson! Watch your inbox for a message to claim your Fun Kit!
This book is an interactive and fun way to teach kids about Kindness. You are going to love it! I had the opportunity to read it during Storytime at the Andover Community Center Tot time last week and they loved the brightly colored pictures, and the parents appreciated the message of kindness and paying it forward.
In this book, Penny Powers is inspired by a stranger to continue to spread the kindness. Along the way, she learned the power of kindness traveling and what it meant to pay it forward to others. Seeing what a kind act can do for someone in need and feeling the impact she can make even through a small, friendly gesture is seen throughout this story.
Minnesota Kindness Alliance is the sponsor of the 2nd edition of Kindness Travels, which was written by a local author named Lisa Metwaly. They have a few more live book readings and free rock painting activities coming up! Join these events to purchase your copy of Kindness Travels Penny Power!
