The 120th Annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count is easily the longest running citizen science project in the world.   Anyone can participate no matter their level of birding or bird ID skills- we welcome all to join in the fun of this special winter bird survey.

The Audubon Chapter of Minneapolis will be hosting this special event on December 21st, 2019.   We will kick things off at 7am in the visitor center at Springbrook Nature Center, 100 85th Ave NW, Minneapolis, MN 55432.

Participants who are new to birding or just getting the feel for it are easily grouped with more experienced birders.   Bring friends and family, enjoy a morning of birding for science, and then come back to Springbrook Nature Center for a potluck style lunch.

After a nice warm lunch we will head back out for more bird surveying fun.   Join us for the morning or the full day
