I'm a sucker for Holiday Light Displays! My favorite are the displays synchronized to music. It is just amazing to the kids and family every time we visit a display like this. Christmas is coming fast and it is time to start planning your attack if you're anything like me. A night of driving through town, admiring the lights, picking up some delicious hot cocoa...that is one of my favorite holiday traditions! The kids start asking as soon as December hits, when are going to go look for lights? I have noticed that a LOT more people have decorated for the holidays this year. Could that be due to our great weather? I'm pretty sure that is the case. In any case, get out there and enjoy the lights this year. It is a great one! Most displays can be found by just driving the neighborhood and admiring everyone's displays, but there are some displays that blow the others away. They are the ones on this list! They are synchronized light displays and they are truly amazing. Many of these displays do accept donations for local food shelves or other organizations. I generally come prepared with some cash and canned foods to donate to all of these great causes!

The first few entries are more local, but to get a good show with music and dancing lights, sometimes you have to drive a bit. Or, maybe your holiday plans will take you to one of these towns! All of them should be worth the drive! Check their websites and Facebook pages to make sure lights are running before heading out. Sometimes there are technical difficulties and sometimes bad weather can darken a display like this. Most of the displays have websites or social media pages. Some do not and you just have to chance it.
