To celebrate National Waffle Week, why not send your kiddo to school with a “Waffle Sandwich“? It’s as simple as it sounds, just substitute the bread for 2 waffles on the sandwich and your are done!
Some suggestions your kiddos might find interesting:
Thinly sliced apples with peanut, soy or sunflower butter
Cream cheese with raspberries or sliced strawberries
Nutella and sliced bananas
Ham and cheese
Turkey and cheese
And just about anything else you can think of!
For best results, toast 2 frozen waffles until crispy (unless you feel inspired to make your own) and set them aside until cool. Once the waffles are cool, build your masterpiece!
