Our school mission is to provide learning experiences that assist parents in nurturing the spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of their young children. We believe this goal can be reached through hands-on, active experiences that are developmentally appropriate for young children. We believe children develop best when all experiences occur in an atmosphere of Christian love and respect.
Cross of Christ Lutheran Preschool offers 3- and 4-year-old preschool morning, afternoon, or all day. Classes are offered two, three or five days a week. Class times are:
•7:45-10:45 M-W-F, T-TH, or all 5 days
•11:30-2:30 M-W-F, T-TH, or all 5 days
•Or both sessions M-W-F, T-TH, or all 5 days
We also offer after school care starting at 2:30 pm.
Cross of Christ Preschool uses the HighScope curriculum. This early childhood education program is research based and child focused promoting independence, curiosity, decision-making, cooperation, persistence, creativity, and problem solving. The learning in these areas is guided by Key Developmental Indicators (KDIs) that meet all state standards. For more information about our curriculum, visit www.highscope.org.
